I am a British pattern designer. I learnt to block print 5 years ago and haven’t stopped since. I am drawn to bold colour and repeat pattern and create design inspiration from things in and around my daily life, the forest where I live and my trips to India.
I live in the Ashdown Forest in rural Sussex with my husband Rollo, who also works with me and our three children, Lani, Algie and Orlando.
A painting of my bedroom by my friend Emma – so colourful and happy and such an unexpected gift.
A chair of my Grannies that has been re upholstered in one of my first ever bits of hand printed cloth.
Be brave and go with your gut.
The sun is shining – another beautiful day in England pastures green.

Being able to be in at least three places at the same time.
It’s a wonderful mix of rural countryside and cosmopolitan shops.
Plawhatch Farm – our friend has converted a horsebox into a café. She makes the most delicious Monmouth Coffee and serves it with super healthy but delicious cakes. We sit on fleeces around the chimchimini fire. Then we go to see the cows, buy their Raw milk and shop for homegrown veg and other delights in the Farmshop. My Friday morning hang out with Orlando my youngest.
One The Square – best juices and chit chat! There is always a friend there.
Seasons – local grocers/dry stores – sells everything from root Turmeric to Seaweed.
Plawhatch Farm – as mentioned above
Neilsons – boutique clothes store for when one feels in the need for a bit of London.
