I'm India, a freelance photographer working all over the UK and sometimes further afield. I shoot a lot of editorial portraiture, still life and interiors for clients like The New York Times, The Telegraph and Le Monde.
I also run a website with my boyfriend called Haarkon which is basically a photo album of our houseplants and weekend adventures.
I live in Sheffield with my partner in crime, Magnus.
Sheffield is a very green city and we live right on the edge of the Peak District which means that epic views and fresh air are not too far away.
Obviously we love our plants, but my favourite thing (all of my things are my favourites!) is a huge old factory clock that Magnus' uncle gave us a few years ago.
We use 3M Command Strips to hang anything on the wall - we rent our house and nails/picture hooks are quite a commitment. If you don't know about them they're amazing - I use them for shooting too and so should probably have shares in the company!
The next time that I'll get to go to bed without setting my alarm (Thursday night).
The ability to switch my brain off when it wants to be pathetic about driving - I passed my test ages ago and still haven't plucked up the courage to actually use our car.
I don't really have a favourite band. My insides go all wobbly as soon as I hear Einaudi - I could listen to his music all day every day, whatever mood I'm in.
My friend Kat.
I love all colours and how they play together - although I'd never choose to have anything red in my house. Terracotta pots are the closest we come.
Wine. And walking - not at the same time!
As per the question above, being able to drive!
Cats. I've grown up with both and I love dogs but if I had to choose it would be cats. They don't care about anything but their own satisfaction and I quite like that.
It's so close to the Peak District. The open space of the moors, big blue reservoirs that we can pretend are the sea and trees, lots of trees.
Lady Canning's Plantation - it's a big area of woodland and I love being surrounded by Pine Trees.
For breakfast: Upshot Espresso
For lunch (we call it dinner): Grindleford Cafe
For tea: Two Steps - the best chip shop and the only place I know that sells a 'mushy pea fritter'
For cocktails: Picture House Social - grown-up stirred-down drinks are my favourite
