When I’m not blogging or working with clients, I love to travel, see different countries and meet new people. Plants are an important part of my lifestyle; I have approximately 150 plants at home and when I travel I love visiting botanical gardens or look for nice plants and cuttings in local greenhouses or simply at the side of the road. They make the perfect souvenirs and remind me of my trips. Our home is bright and colourful and the large windows of our industrial building let in an abundance of sunlight which my plants seem to appreciate even more than me.
I live in a former factory building of 550m2 just outside Paris, with my husband, 3 cats and approximately 150 plants.
My favourite items in our home are my plants, without a doubt. They add liveliness to our home decor and are in constant movement too. I also really like our pending lamps, from Ilka Plast, Colani and Gubi.
Gather a few plants in different pots and heights. A #plantgang looks good on a shelf, table, sideboard. Anywhere!
Yay, sun’s shining! (they predicted a very cloudy day)
I’d love to be able to read fast (and learn more in same amount of time).
Don’t be shy, just do it!
Pearl Jam or Red Snapper or Wax Tailor or… too much to choose from!
Iris Apfel and Gwen Stefani before The Voice
Yellow is my fave and beige my least favourite.
Tending to my plants or going for a run.
Our 3 cats!
Paris is always changing and always the same.
In general I prefer walking around over hanging out, but my favourites are the Serres d’Auteuil (greenhouses) and the Grand Palais.
Marché des Enfants Rouges for streetfood, The Broken Arm for coffee (+ shopping), Anticafé to work
Mama Petula for plants, Papier Tigre for nice paper goods, Magasin Bleu (69 rue Condorcet) for eclectic home decor
